Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 8, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Klosed uses cookies and similar technologies to make the Service work, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember information about your visit, like whether you are signed in.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- Session cookie. Set by NextAuth so we know you're signed in. Without it you would have to log in on every page load.
- CSRF token. Set by NextAuth to protect against cross-site request forgery attacks during sign-in.
Third-party
- Stripe sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention and session continuity. See Stripe's cookie settings.
3. Browser storage (not cookies)
A few preferences are stored in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. These never leave your device:
- Theme preference (light or dark mode)
4. What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Cross-site tracking
- Third-party analytics that profile you across the web
5. How long they last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser or sign out. Browser local-storage entries (such as your theme preference) persist until you clear your browser data.
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using core features of the Service.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
